Jon D. Zern, DVM:

Dr. Z 

A graduate of Florida State University and University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Zern is a lifelong resident of Central Florida. He now lives in Geneva with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Skylar. 

Dr. Z has extensive experience in emergency/critical care medicine and surgery and is able to provide excellent care in the most serious of situations. He also excels at educating clients on how to keep pets happy and healthy by preventing possible problems.  When problems arise he uses thorough examination diagnostics to help determine the exact nature of the problem and offers owners all their options in treatment.

His main objective is to keep your animals as healthy as possible, without insisting on excessive treatments or products. He is very thorough in his examinations and takes time to explain the details of your pet's health. 

In his (limited) free time Dr. Z likes to relax by racking up miles on his mountain bike. When he can't be on two wheels he enjoys traveling, studying French, and most anything outdoors. He and his family have two Chihuahuas - Penny and Hot Pocket, a cat called Milquetoast, and two horses - Coraletto aka "Checkers" and Trade Secret aka "Levi".

Nita Vasudevan Patel, DVM:

Dr. V

Dr. Vasudevan is a small animal practitioner and a graduate of New York University and the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, with a Masters in Animal Science and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. 

She has a passion for the advancement of veterinary medicine, increasing access to responsible veterinary care to pet parents in need, and believes that client education is the paramount of strengthening the human-animal relationship. In her spare time, she loves maintaining an active lifestyle and spending time with her family - her husband and two spunky daughters.
